Thousand Trail Medina Lake, Lakehills, TX

Just a week stop here this time.  We met up with RV friends Randy and Stephanie for lunch a couple of times, always good to catch up.

This park has very friendly deer and if you choose to feed them they are even more friendly.  Looks to have more deer than they have in the past.  Park seems to have been cleaned up from our last visit and looks very nice.  Barbara, the activity director kept us busy, with bingo and playing LCR (left, front, center, a dice game).  She is dong a great job.  We have seen the lake empty and this visit we find the lake over the banks, they have had a couple of months of heavy rain.

Been to this area, San Antonio, several times but never visited the aquarium so we decided to check it out.  Turned out to be very interesting and even has some zoo animals.  Len fed the stingrays and some fish plus the sharks, yes, he still has all his fingers.  Enjoyed lunch at their little snack bar, not a big selection (pizza and nachos) but we enjoyed it.

Moving tomorrow and will start our journey West.  Till next time.
