Moved again

Well now we are in Accord NY at Rondout TT Park. We were here two years ago and like the park.
It is still a nice park but there are allot more campers this time. Took the truck up to Kingston NY yesterday and got the tires rotated and a oil change. It was way over due. Got a good rain yesterday afternoon and they sure did need it. The grass is all dried out. Today we took a drive  up to a Casino just to see if we could get rich. Well needless to say we didn't but at least I came out $20.00 to the good. Gloria only lost about $10.00 so we did alright and had some fun too.

Wow I sure have been lazy

We have moved but that was two weeks ago. Just being lazy I guess. We moved to Timothy Lake RV park in Stroudsburg PA. We really have not done much here as there isn't much to do and what there is we did last time we were here. I did get the kayak out and make a 6 mile run down the Delaware River but that is about all.

The weather was either too hot or way to windy. All in all not good a stay. Hope our next stay is better but we will only be there for 4 days. We will be in Brimfield MA. The back down to NY for 2 weeks. I had to change some things up as I could not get into the park we wanted in Maine. Oh well we will get up there later. Will try to do a  better job keeping you all up to date.

We are still here but will be moving on Tuesday. We will be heading a bit more north. It has been a great stay here and we like this park lots. Yesterday we went to Gettysburg and did the tour of the battle field and the museum. We had don't this two years ago but I want to go through the Museum again. It is such a cool place and know matter how many times you go you will see new things. Just to be where so many men fought and died for there beliefs is very sobering. One thing I learned was that for every man killed 2 more died of disease. So hard to imagine.

Enjoying our stay

We have been having a good time here at Gettysburg TT park. They had a real nice Memorial Day Celebration. We even had a lady that was in the Army in WW2. She is 92 and is doing great for her age. The other day we went to Hanover Pa. to take 2 factory tours. Fist we went to Snyder's of Hanover. They make Pretzels and other snacks. They started back in 1920 and have been going strong ever since. The tour was great but we were not allowed to take pictures. We got to see the whole process from start to end. They sure can put our a lot of Pretzels in one day.

Then we went to the UTZ Potato Chip factory. Same thing here no pictures and this one is a self guided tour. Again you get to see the entire process from start to finish. It was also a great tour and fun to learn now all these things are made. They started in 1921 and have a 600,000 sq. ft. facility. We had never heard of them but they put out a good chip.

Today we took the bike and went to York Pa. to see the York County Agricultural and Industrial Museum. This is one great place to see all the business that started York. They even had a working Grist Mill. Also there were old cars that were built here. And a ton of other things. Only bad thing was it cost $15.00 to get in ( but that will get you into the other museums in there system, But it only good for one day) We thought it was free from what we had read so we just walked in and started our tour. Guess they don't monitor things as no one said any thing. If we would have known we would have not gone.
