Alabama:

Arley: Hidden Cove RV Park, 687 CR 3919, Arley AL. 35541  205-221-7042
Very nice small park, with 59 full hookup sites with 30 & 50 amp. There is a club house with TV and pool tables and other things. Also there is a Pool, Horse Shoe pits, Mini Golf and other outdoor games. The park is 80 acres and has lots of room to walk around. Lewis Smith Lake is right along one side and there is a boat ramp and slips for your boat. Roads are gravel and so are the sites with a concrete pad and table. Verizon dose not work too well here but the booster will bring it in. They do have Wifi all through the park and it is real good. Staff is great and keep the park in nice shape. Only problem we had is ANTS. We sprayed for them when we got here but it rained and must have washed the spray away. So we had ants and Gloria dose not like them. So learned to spray after a hard rain.

Arizona:

Cottonwood: Verde Valley RV Park, 6400 Thousand Trails Cottonwood AZ. 86326 (928) 567-9562
This is a Thousand Trails Park and a good one too. They have over 265 full hookup sites with most being 30 amp but now have some 50 amp sites too. The park sits on 300 acres and has a river running on one end. It is very clean and most is open with some trees. Sites are mostly pull thru and are all gravel with picnic
table and grill. They have a Family Center with cafe and store, Laundry, and pool. Good Verizon and TV.

California:

Acton: Soledad Canyon RV Resort, 4700 Crown Valley Rd. Acton, CA 93510 269-1740
Park has 477 full hookup (30 amp) sites and 376 Water and elec. sites (most dont work) on 266 acres. Most sites are gravel as are the roads in the camp grounds. Interior roads are paved to the camp areas. As others have said most of the real good sites are taken by the long term lease people. These are sites that are on the outer edge of the camp sections and are not side by side. All other sites are pull through side by side sites. You end up real close to you neighbor. They have one adult club house and pool and one family club house and pool. The Family pool is very large and real nice as is the adult one. There are pool tables and other thing to occupy your time. There are also trails to walk or just follow the roads. There is a small lake you can fish in with out a permit at this time. Staff is nice but not overly friendly. Verizon works good in N section but not in the rest of the park.

Groveland: Yosemite Lakes, 31191 Hardin Flat Rd, Groveland, CA 95321 209-962-0103
Very nice park. Well laid out with Members area, Tent Area and public and lease area. There are 234 full hookup sites with 30 Amp. On 400+ acres. There are treed sites and open sites with gravel roads and lots of grass. Lots of places to walk with a river going right through it. There use to be a lake but it is mostly filled in with sand now. The staff is real nice. Verizon works sort of. You need a booster and that helps some but not much. The park is real close to the North entrance to Yosemite but it is still 26 miles to Yosemite Valley. Lots to do and see in the area but you will have to drive a long way to get to it. No big stores in the area. The park is real clean and bathrooms are in nice shape.

Jamul: Pio Pico RV Resort, 14615 Otay Road, Jamul Calif. 91935 (619) 421-0104
Lots of sites but half are water and elec. only. All sites have 30 amp and water. They have 2 pools, Jacuzzis, miniature golf, hiking and biking areas, youth and adult centers. Sites are in general large with paved roads and gravel sites. The park sits on 180 acres in the foot hills of San Diego. Verizon service is poor to none without a Booster.  Store and Café in park. Some activities for the campers. The North side is where we ended up as there was no room in the full hookup side. This side is real run down with RV,s that look like they came here when the place opened and never left. Sure could use some help over here. Will move ASAP. Moved to the full hookup side and got a good site in A section.
Came back in 2013 and things have been cleaned up quite a bit. Looks real nice now. Staff real nice and there seems to be a bunch of them. Verizon is still real bad even with a Booster.
We are here again in 2015 and in E section. Verizon is bad all over the park as always but for some reason it is better in E section and we even have a strong 4G signal using the booster.

Lotus: Ponderosa TT Park, 7291 Hwy 49, Lotus CA 95651 503-642-5830
Ok park on the American River with 132 sites with 30 & 50 Amp Hookups. some sites have sewer in Sec, B & C, Most site are close together. They charge for 50 Amp and for fire rings. Roads and sites are gravel and mostly level. They do have bathrooms with showers but not allot. Dump site is on the way out and not that easy to get to. Verizon works good here at 4G but a booster helps. There is a swimming pool but no Hot tub. Also other sport courts and an family Lodge with pool table (poor shape) and other things. No Laundry room you will have to go to town about 13 miles away.

Manteca: Turtle Beach TT Park. 703 E. Williamson Rd. Manteca Ca. 95337  209-239-2034
This is the most quiet  peaceful park we have stay at. It is very small park with only 39 full hookup 50 amp sites ( most of them are taken up by annuals ) and 17 water and elec. Lots of primitive sites. If you like to fish this is the place for you as the San Joaquin River runs right along the park. Nice river for kayaking and fishing. The park really dose not have much to offer but it dose have a club house ( with a pool table and tv )  horseshoe pit and not much else. Verizon works good as you are close to Manteca. There is good shopping in Manteca like Wal-Mart and Papa Murphy. Not much in the area to see but in Oakdale there is some things. The staff is great and real friendly.

Menifee; Wilderness Lakes TT Park, 30605 Briggs Rd, Menifee CA. 92584  (951) 679-4750
Nice park with canal running through it that you can fish in with a 10.00 permit. Sits on 80 acres with 519 full hookup sites with 30 amp electric. Has 2 pools one family and one adult. Activity centers, country store, small restaurant, mini golf, horseshoe pits, and lots of other stuff to do. Free Wifi at club house and Verizon works great and is 4G. Not too far from stores and things to see. There is a Dairy just out side the park and it can get to smelling some times. Real nice staff and people here are friendly. Also met 2 other people that walk there cats on a leash like we do. Roads are in good shape and sites are graveled. Some trees for shade.

Morgan Hill: Morgan Hill TT Park, 12895 Uvas  Rd, Morgan Hill CA. 95037  (408)778-1143
This is a 66 acre park with 298 water and electric sites. They just put in some 50 amp sites and the rest are 30. they have a nice Pool and and store but they are not open in the cold months. Should open in mid May. Also no Activities then either. Sites are dirt and roads are mostly gravel. They are kind of level and have tables and bar-b-ques. Lots of trees so some sites cant get satellite and there is no TV. Verizon works good enough. Small laundry and should be bigger. Showers and bath rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff not real friendly but OK. No pool tables in Adult Lodge or much of any thing. They do have 2 tables in family lodge but they are trashed They do have all the other things to play on and they are well maintained.

Nicolaus: Lake Minden TT Park, 1256 Marcum Ed. Nicolaus Ca. 95659  530-656-2700
Nice large park with a 41 acre lake and 49 full hookup sites ( sites are small and not good for large rv's )  113 water and elec. sites that are larger. There is a store and café with weekend food. Also a family center and adult center. They do have lots of outside game courts and fields. The lake has boats to rent and fishing for $5 fee. The park is quiet and peaceful and well maintained. Staff is great and very friendly.  Verizon worked good here and Sat was easy to get.

Oregon House: Lake of the Springs, 14152 French Town Rd. Oregon House CA. 95962 530-692-1852
Very large park with close to 1000 acres. There are some 507 power and water sites and 33 full hookup sites. Most in section X that has what the call 50 amp. They are trying to charge for them but they are not 50 amp but are 40 amp. go figure. There is a 120 acre lake with boats and thing to rent and there is ok fishing that will cost you $6.00 a day to fish. There is a nice club house with and adult center. There are pool tables and other things to play and a nice café. There is a store with lots of things you may need also a pool (not sure if it is heated) and Laundry. Lots of trails to walk but lots of hills too also lots of outside paly areas. Staff is real nice but not lots of them. They seem to work hard to keep this large park up. Verizon was ok in section X but had to use the booster to get it. Good cell service in section I but most sites are closed due to low power. Most annuals are in section D. Learned something new here, Dumping your gray water on the ground is legal in Calif. Shopping is quite a distance away but there is a store close that has most things you may need but is pricey.

Palm Desert: Palm Springs TT Park, 77500 Varner Rd. Palm Desert CA. 92211 (760) 345-2236
Ok park whit lots of Palm trees. They have 397 full hookups, Half of the sites are 30 amp and half have 50 amp. The park is always full so you have to reserve. The 30 amp side is mostly pull throughs but some are short and most are slightly close. The 50 amp side is all back ins. Roads are good and sites have asphalt pads with grass are sand around. There is a Adult center and a family center. There is one pool and hot tub at the family center. They have horse shoe pits, gets lots of use and Pickle Ball courts that get lots of use too. No Cafe or store. 3 pool tables in the family center. Several bathrooms with showers that are clean. Also several laundry rooms that are nice too. Verizon works real good here and easy to set up you satellite dish.

Paicines: San Benito TT Park, 16225 Cienega Rd. Paicines CA. 95043  831-389-4477
This is a large park with 435 full hookup sites. Some with 50Amp with a fee. Only draw back is about half of the 30 amp sites have no power due to ground squirrels. The park looks run down and I guess it is but they are working hard on fixing it up. They have two pools a small heated one for adults and a large one for families also horseshoe pits, mini golf (not in good shape) and other things like that. Also trails that are real nice. This park will be real nice when and if they get it fixed up. They are planning on upgrading most of the park to 50 amp within two years.... They do have a nice store and in the family center there is a café that is great with real good food. Verizon did not work well in the area we were in but it was much better closer to the store.

Santa Barbara: Rancho Oso TT Park, 3750 Paradise Rd. Santa Barbara CA 93105  805-964-8985
This 301 Acre Ranch Park has 108 full hookup sites ( but with all the cabins and annuals there is less than 50) There is only  30 Amp through out the park. They do have some water and sewer sites but they need lots of work. There is a nice pool area with 2 pools and one hot tub. Also there are lots of other things to play like mini golf, horse shoes and tennis. There also lots of trails to walk but ridding a bike is hard due to hills. This is a working horse and cattle ranch. There are horse back ridding ( at $40.00 an hour) also on the weekend there is a small rodeo. There is an Adult club house with WIFI and a pool table. The Family center is an old rock building built around 1926 and has a small café that is open on weekends. There is a small store by the pool. Verizon dose not work too good but with a booster it is ok and internet is 4G and ok signal with booster. There are activities on the weekends in the off season.

Florida:
Clermont: Lake Magic Encore  9600 Hwy 192 West, Clermont, FL 34714
Have not stayed here yet but think we will some day we just did a drive through.. It is a real nice park with full hookup sites. Sites seem to be big enough and Sat should not be a problem. There is two nice pools and even a dock on the lake. Seem to be run real nice. Most sites are  paved.

Clermont: Orlando TT Park, 2110 US HWY 27 S, Clermont FL. 34714  352-394-7575
This is a large park with 850 full hookup sites with 30 and 50 AMP. Most are level grass and sand sites but some may be hard to level up in. They have a large club house with adult and family sections. Also there are 2 pools and one hot tub. They have all the game areas you could ever want, with mini golf, horse shoes, shuffleboard, and tennis. The staff is friendly and  nice. We liked the park but not our favorite as there are lots of people. Bristol didnt like it much at all. Can be hot so 50 Amp is nice to find. Verizon worked good.
Kissimmee: Sherwood Forest Encore 5300 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy., Kissimmee, FL 34746
Another Encore park we just did a drive through. This one we may not stay in, Seems to be a bit small and tight. There are over 500 sites but most seem short and small. There is lots to do in and around the park. They have a pool and all the other thing you may want to play on. Just would not be my first choice in the area.
Kissimmee: Tropical Palms Encore 2650 Holiday Trail, Kissimmee 43746
Just did a drive through but like the park and will stay some time soon. There are some 200 + sites with full hookups. Sites are nice and large but some are not as good. there is a pool and rec center and a small pond. There is lots of game counts and a café too. Nice place.

Wauchula: Peace River TT Park, 2555 US HWY 17S, Wauchula FL 33890  863-735-8888
This is a nice park with some 200 3point sites with 50 Amp. and 200 2 point sites with 30 Amp mostly level. Some sites have road noise but the rest are nice. There is a nice pool and hot tub, Club house with pool table, Shuffleboard, pickle ball and other things to play. You can even hunt for fossils in the Peace River for Shark Teeth. The river runs along the side of the park. Great staff that works real hard. Real nice nature trails that are maintained well. Close to shopping and restaurants. Verizon works good and sat easy to get.

Wildwood,  Three Flags, 1755 E. State Road 44, Wildwood FL. 34785   352+748-3870
Nice Park with 196 full hookup sites about half have 50 Amp with some pull through with lots of trees and the other half is 30 Amp and all pull through sites with few trees. Good Verizon but Sat is hard to get in some sites. Roads are paved but narrow. Nice Club House with small kitchen, TV, and two pool tables. No Wifi in the park. There are all the outside game courts and a Mini Golf but it is small there is also a small pool up by the office. The grounds are well kept and the crew works real hard to keep it that way. Staff is great and friendly. Close to stores and towns.
Winter Gardens, Winter Gardens Encore 13905 W Colonial Drive, Winter Garden, FL 34787
Just drove through for now.

Indiana:

Clinton, Horseshoe Lakes, 12962 S. 225 W. Clinton IN 47842  765-832-2487
This is one beautiful park, we love it. They have 118 full hookup sites with 30 and some 50 amp. Sites are mostly level and gravel. Power is good. Lots of grass around this park but it can be wet. Nice family center with activities on the weekends, also there is an adult center with a pool table and wifi. also game courts and a small pool. Lots of waking trails on this 300 acre park and 11 lakes that you can fish or boat on. Verizon worked good but Sat can be a challenge. Main drawback is they have leased lots of the sites so finding a good one can be hard. Don't even think of getting one on the water. To me it looks like they are at least 70 percent leased. I was told they are getting 15 new sites this year, we will see but more than that is needed. Note: Covered bridge tour isn't all that great.

Maine:

Wells, Moody Beach, 266 Post Rd, Wells ME 04090   207-646-0637
Nice park but full most of the year. 144 sites but lots of lease ones. 50 Amp in the rear and 30 Amp in the front. They try to keep the 50 amp sites for the larger rigs. No charge for 50. They have 53 cabins and most of them are owned. The park has both adult and kid rec rooms. pool and hot tub but pool is not heated, store, Pavilion for activities and they have lots for kids and some for adults. Also there is a tennis court and lots of other game courts for other things. There are lots of places to eat and things to see in the area. Only draw back is parking. It will cost you lots to park so ride the trolley as it will take you most any place you want to go. Sites are level and dirt and gravel, roads are mostly paved,  There are lots of trees so getting Sat. is hard. Verizon worked good. Power and water good.

2016 park is so full it is almost impossible to get a site. We had to stay in overflow twice and there is no elec. there. The park is at least 75 per cent leased and that is not acceptable. Will not come back as it you do get a reservation you may not have a site you can fit in.

Massachusetts:

Rochester. Gateway to Cape Cod, 90 Stevens Rd. Rochester MA 02770  580-763-5911
Nice park if  you like lots of trees. 149 sites about half are leased. They have 30 & 50 amp and are full hookup. Roads are dirt and sand as are the sites and they are mostly level. Roads could us some work with large potholes that fill up with water when it rains and they are also rough in places. They have a pool, café (open on weekends) small activity center for kids, ok adult lounge with wifi, Mini Golf course (real bad shape) and most all the other outdoor sports also a store in the office and lots of activities for kids. Verizon worked good but it is almost impossible to get Dish Sat but most people with Direct were having better luck. Stores are kind of close and there are lots to see and do in the area. There is also a nice large Pond called Leonards Pond.

Sturbridge: Sturbridge RV Park, 19 Mashapaug Rd., Sturbridge, MA 01566
This park we will not stay in as the sites are real small and there is not much room for a large RV.

Michigan:

Buchanan, Bear Cave RV Park, 4085 n. Red Bud Trail, Buchanan MI 49107  268-695-3050
8/2016 Nice park with 70 full hookup 50Amp sites and lots of W/E sites 30 Amp. Some shade and mostly level. Roads are grave and can be rough.  There is a pool and not working hot tub. Lots of game courts and play grounds for kids. Club House with pool table and arcade games all that you pay for. The Saint Joseph River runs right along side the park and there is a boat launch and dock. There is also a water fall and a cave that you can explore. Only thing we noticed is the park staff is not real interested in enforcing the rules as we have seen several dogs off leash and people seem to like to speed a lot. There are lots of things to see in the area, more than we have time to see. Verizon didn't work real good here but the booster helped some. Easy area for walking and not a lot of annuals.

New York:

Accord, Rondout Valley 105 Mettacahonts Rd. Accord NY. 12404   845-626-5521
Large park with around 400 sites, about half are 3 point hookup and some have 50 Amp. for $2.00 per day. The rest are 30 Amp, the only bad thing is there are no breakers at the pedestals. Most sites are large enough but some are a bit small. They all have fire rings and tables. The staff and manager are great and real friendly. There is a café that is open all week and has good food. They have lots of activities but most are for kids. There is a pool, mini golf, horse shoes and lots of other thing to play. There is a small pond to fish in or a river on both sides of the park. Good hiking trails and the roads around the park and good for walking too. There is cable for $2.00 a day as sat is hard to get as for the trees. Verizon worked good. Walmart is about 8 miles down the road. No Wifi in the park.

Nevada:

Las Vegas, 1000 Trails Park, 4295 Boulder Hwy. 89121 (702)451-4647
Member Park, 216 Gravel sites, Some shade, Full Hookups, 30 Amp. service, Wifi but not at all sites. Most sights are small and Level, Pool clean, Laundry and Showers clean, Friendly Staff, Park Clean, Sam's Town is the best place to gamble if you in into that slots don't take your money too fast also has good food and cheep.

NORTH CAROLINA:

Advance: Forest Lake, 192 Thousand Trails RD. Advance NC 27006  336-998-4135
Nice park on 305 acres with 262 full hookup sites with some 30 and the others are 50 Amp. After April 1 you will pay $3.00 for the 50. The sites and roads are mostly gravel and the site are kind of level. There are allot of trees so some looking my be needed to find a site you can get satellite. There is a adult clubhouse with pool and spa and a family club house with a pool also. There is a nice lake you can fish on or go swimming. Also there is a nice mini golf course and most other thing people may like to do. There is some real nice walking trails and one even has and old cemetery that dates back to 1808. Several bath houses that are kept nice and clean. Sites are large with fire pits and tables. Verizon worked real good here. Not much happens here till after Memorial Day as far as the pools being open and activities.

Lenoir: Green Mountain RV Park. 2495 Dimmette Rd. Lenoir NC 28645  828-758-7766
Long narrow park with 256 full hookup 30 &50 amp. sites. Most site have wood decks and concrete pads to pull on to. The exception is the 700 area that is gravel but it is easer to get satellite, They have a large rec. hall, two pools one for young kids and the other for the rest. There lots of other things to play on. They even have a 9 hole pitch and put course but has not been maintained for along time. There is a general store that is open every day and also sells ice cream and other stuff. Lots of things to see in the area. They also have lots of places to hike and walk. But area is real hilly and some of the hiking is hard. There is a small lake that you can fish on and use paddleboats. Verizon was not great but with a booster it was ok. The park wont get going till after Memorial Day and closes in the winter.

Littleton, Lake Gaston, 561 Fleming Dairy Rd. Littleton NC 27850  252-586-4121
Very nice park with one of the best managers we have met. Only bad thing is she is retiring this year. There are some 200+ sites here that are a mix of 30 and 50amp some W/E and some full hookup. The bad thing is the park is around 75% leased and that only leaves about 45 sites for the traveling people and lots of them are unlevel and hard to get into. We were lucky and got one of the new sites but the sewer is not working yet. The park is very heave with trees and some areas never see the sun. So places never dry out. Other problem is you will not get Sat. There is a real nice lake and marina and store. A small café on weekends. Also two swim beaches and a pool. There is mini golf one shuffle board and very little else of people to play on. There is a new adult lounge but no family lounge. They use a outdoor pavilion for most activities. Verizon was ok but we  probably will not come back. Very little to do in the area and Walmart is about 18 miles away.

OHIO:

Jefferson: Kenisee Lake, 2021 Mill Creek Rd. Jefferson, OH 44047   440-576-9030
Very nice large park with 127 full hookup sites some with 30 Amp. and some with 50 Amp (for a fee). Sites are grave and level with table and fire pits. Roads are gravel and pavement and in ok shape. There are trees and lots of green grass. There is a small pool, mini golf, rec. room and play grounds. Lots of room to walk but no trails. Lots of very nice annual sites that look real nice. There are several ponds that you can fish on. Verizon worked ok and Sat was ok too. The park is maintained real well and looks great. Only draw back is it is close to the Erie Lake and there are clouds lots of the time and fairly wet. Not much going on here right now as it is the off season and not much in the area either.

OREGON:

Bend: Bend/Sunriver 17480 S. Century Dr. Vend OR  97707  541-593-8494
283 acre park with 289 sites with some 50 amp. but most 30 amp. and water. No sewer but there is a dump site. Rumor is they are working on getting some sewer sites in the future. There is a nice family center with a small adult area in the loft and small kitchen. Two pools with hot tubes. Pickleball  courts, mini golf, and just about any thing outside you want to play. Also there is a nice store and other small building for other actives and a great staff. There are lots of things in the area to see. This is a very nice park with nice sites and lots of trees. It can be hard to get satellite, but  Verizon did work ok. This is the only park we have been to that the laundry room has a large capacity washer and dryer. Bend is about 20 miles up the road for shopping.

Florence: South Jetty Resort Park, 5010 South Jetty Rd. Florence OR. 97439 (541) 997-8333
1000 Trailes Park. Large park with over 200 site but not all have full hookups. 30AMP. but are putting in 50AMP. Big Rigs ok. Sites are in the trees and shaded so stays damp longer. Club house with wifi, Large Pool and hot tub, Clean Laundry. several bath and shower houses. Staff is friendly. Most roads are dirt as are the sites. We stayed in site 146 It has sewer as do all the sites around us. Our Direct TV worked good but had to put the dish in the field behind us.

NEWPORT: Whalers Rest Resort, 50 S.E. 23Rd. South Beach . 97366 (541) 867-3100
This a  1000 Trails member park but will take drive ups. It has 149 full hookups with 30 & 50 amp service. You don't have to pay for the 50 Amp. They also have cable for and additional charge. You can use your dish in some sites. Most sites have a slab and trees around them also site are big and spread out. They have 2 club houses a pool and hot tub and most everything you may want to play with. They have activities going most of the time. They also have real good  wifi in the club houses. Phone service is poor for Verizon but your air card will work some. Great park and we will be back.

Pacific City:  Pacific City Resort 30000 Sandlake Rd. 97112 (503) 965-6200
This is a 1000 Trails member park. Has over 300 sites but only 43 full hookup. 30 and or 50 Amp. Paved roads but some need repair. Large and small sites. Club house with Wifi games and store, pool and hot tub. has several shower and bath houses that are clean and nice. The laundry is small and only has 6 wash and dry machines for the whole park (not enough). If you like to walk you may not like this place as it has lots of hill that are kind of steep. Has lots of activities with a great staff. No Cell reception but with a booster it comes in ok. Satellite is hard to get but can be done in some areas. lots of Rabbits to watch. Bristol had fun chasing them. Will return as we did like the park.

Seaside: Seaside Resort,1703 12th Ave. Seaside OR 97138  503-738-0546
This is a TT park and has over 250 full hookup sites with 30 and 50 Amp plug-ins.Roads are mostly gravel but smooth. Most all the drivers follow the speed limit as the park is always on top of it. They have an Adult and Family Club house with Wifi and all that stuff. Also there is a nice indoor pool and hot tub and Sauna. Also there are all the usual outside things to play. Sites are fairly level and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and nice. As is the laundry. Verizon works great with 4G and Satellite is easy to get. Walking is easy but mostly on the roads as there is no trails. Shopping is limited but there is Fred Meyers in Astoria about 11 miles away. Power is a bit low at 115 volts.

Seaview: Long Beach RV park, 2215 Willow Road, Seaview, WA 98644 360-642-3091
Nice small park with 144 sites that are back in and full hookup. Only draw back is 4 rv's use one pedestal so 2 of them have to run hoses and cords under there coach. Sites are small and short. Hard to find a place to park you car.

Pennsylvania:

Dover: Gettysburg Farm, 6200 Big Mount Rd. Dover Pa 17315   717-292-7191
This is a great park with some 160 full hookup and 100+ water electric. Most sites are 30 or 50 Amp with no charge for 50. They will even pump your unit if you are on a no sewer site for free. The only draw back is the sewer sites are about 70 percent leased. So get here early in the week to get one. This is a working farm with all kinds of farm animals and thy even grow corn in the fields. fun to pet the animals. There is a nice unheated pool, lots of play grounds, and other areas for horse shoes, mini golf, basketball and other things. There is a nice club house with a store and small café where they make breakfast on Sundays and a very large area for eating and dances and such. There is a river that runs by the lower sections and you can fish there with a license. The area is real green right now and they stay busy mowing all the time. Verizon worked good and we had no trouble getting satellite. No Free Wifi in the park

Scotrun: Scotrun RV Park, Route 611, Scotrun PA. 18355  570-629-0620
Ok small park with 134 sites most with only 2 point hookups and some with full hookup 50amp. The amenities are real nice with 3 pools and some nice game courts and a mini golf. There is a nice family center with pool tables and other things. The big downer is there were only about 10 sites open when we drove through and only 3 were full hookup and no chance a Sat. Some of the others you may have been able to get Sat. The park looks to be about 80% annual and that includes the cabins as there are lots of them. Not sure we would go there as the sites are small and not sure we would fit in too many. But it is a nice park and if they would cut back on annuals it would be much better.

East Stroudsburg: Timothy Lake South or North, Timothy Lake Rd. East Stroudsburg PA 18302
570-588-1617
South is a real nice park with well over sites 200 sites with  30 and 50 Amp full hookup sites. Sites are gravel and grass and roads are paved. Lots of trees so Sat can be a problem but can be ok in areas of the park. Not lots of things to do in the park. They have a small store and club house. There is a pool that is nice and shuffle board and horse shoes but that is about all. If you want more you will have to go the timothy Lake North about one mile up the road.  Staff is great and they keep the park looking nice. Verizon is ok but not great. Water pressure poor. Tables and fire rings at all sites also cable and internet also for a fee.

East Stroudsburg: Timothy Lake North.
Just up the road from Timothy Lake South. That park has all the things you may want but not much for camping. They have a real nice pool for kids. Camp sites are not all that great and there are not many people that use that area. They need to clean it up some as it looks run down.
There are not allot of activities in either park for adults. Most of them are for kids and only on weekend.

Lancaster: Circle M RV Park, 2111 Millersiville Rd. Lancaster PA 17603  717-872-4651
We did a drive through when we were in the area and thought we would stay here some day. There are some 240 sites some with full hookup and some with just water and elec. There is a river on both sides of the park and two canoe landings. The have all the things to do in the park that others have plus a nice pool. Verizon was good and satellite look ok to get. Also has a 9 hole pitch and putt golf course.

Lebanon: Hershey,493 S.Mt. Pleasant Rd. Lebanon PA 17043   717-867-5515
Real nice park with 250 full hookup sites with 30 and 50 AMP. they do charge for 50 Amp. The roads and sites are gravel and mostly level. There is a very large club house with café (open on Sat) office and rec. room up stairs and store, hot tub and arcade down stairs. There is Wifi in the club house but it is not too good. There is a nice pool (not heated) and mini golf and other things outside to do. The park is real green and they seem to have lots of rain. Sites are nice for the most park but it can be hard to get Sat. in some of them. This area can be real humid and hot at times. Verizon dose not work real good. The staff is great and works real hard to keep the park in nice shape. There is a nice lake that you can fish in and also some canoes you can use. They are getting cable and internet soon.

Manheim: Pa Dutch RV Park, 185 Lehaman Rd. Manheim, PA 17545   717-665-2500
We did a drive through this park and decided we would not stay here. It is an older Park and would be hard to get Sat. and there are lots of trees. They have 240 sites with 50 and 30 amp full hookups and some with only water and elec. Lots of cabins to rent. Verizon worked good here. I also think the sites are small for a 40 ft. motorhome.

South Carolina:

Fair Play: Carolina Landing RV Park,120 Carolina Landing Dr. Fair Play SC 29643  864-972-9527
This park is ok but some what run down. There are about 300 sites, with about 100 full hookup with some 50amp. They have lots of W\E sites but most are real hard to get into and level up in. There are two club houses one Adult with two pool tables and one Family. There are two pools but only one looked like it was useable. there is a nice Mini Golf, Play ground, basketball court and a boat dock and other things to play. The park is on Lake Hartwell, it is a big lake with 921 miles of shoreline. Don't think I will kayak around the lake. Verizon work great and we got satellite ok. Not sure if I would come back here but you never know. This time of year (April) isn't all that busy.

Yemassee: The Oaks at Point South, 1292 Campground RD, Yemassee, SC 29945 843-726-5728
This is a small park with only 78 full hookup sites with 30 and 50 Amp. Also they have cable but there is a fee for that. Sites are dirt and gravel and mostly level. There lots of trees so getting satellite is hard. There is a nice club house and pool (that is not open yet)and laundry.  Also there is mini golf, horseshoes and some great walking trails around a lake. The big draw back to this park is the roads and sites. When it rains they turn to mud in allot of places and has big ruts with standing water in them. They say they are working on getting them fixed as soon as they can. Also there are lots of small bugs flying around and they do bite. Maybe if they get some of the puddles filled in that may get better. Staff is real nice and friendly. Verizon is weak and shopping is some distance away. The park dose not seem to get lots of people and most only stay for 1 or 2 night on there way through. They have started to have activities in hopes of getting more to stay longer.

Tennessee: Natchez Trace, 1363 Napier Rd. Hohenwald, TN. 38462  931-796-3211
Very large park with some 126 full hookup sites with some that are 50 amp. there are 391 sites that are W/E and 30 amp. The park is spread out over 600+ acres on a large lake with lots of trees. There is a boat dock and swim beach also a store with a café that is open all year. There is all the normal thing like pools and club houses Also there is a nice fitness room and movie theater. Sites are for the most part level and gravel. Roads are narrow and paved but could use upgrading. There are lots of annuals and some look rather shabby and some have large car ports over them. Sat can be gotten in some area and Verizon is poor to say the least. But the booster will bring it in and it is usable. There are several laundry rooms and bath houses. Some of the staff are friendly and some are not.

Texas:

Bridgeport: Bay Landing TT Park, 2305 Hwy 380, Bridgeport TX 76426   940-683-2267
Large park with some 224 sites. Most are 30 Amp. no sewer sites, there are some 50 Amp. full hookup sites but not allot and most are annuals. They charge 10.00 to pump your sites. Sites are nice, large and mostly level and gravel. There is a real nice lake and a boat launch to play in also a pond you can fish in with out a license. There is an Adult Center with pool table and Wifi. There is a nice club house for all to use and a snack bar that is only open on weekends in the winter. Lots of things for kids to do and lots of ground to take walks. Staff seems to be real nice and easy to talk to. About 50 miles from Fort Worth. Only bad thing was the wind that blew all the time we were here.

Columbus: Colorado River 1000 Trails, 1062 Thousand Trails Ln. Columbus, TX 78934 (979)732-8229
Small park with only 60 full hookups and 34 power & water. 30 & 50 Amp sites (pay for 50) Has an nice Activity Center but not much for activities, has Wifi, pool table and games. Pool and Hot tub but not open in the winter, Nice access to the river. Roads OK mostly grave, sites are nice large gravel sites and almost level. Nice out side games like Mini Golf, Basketball court and others. Nice place to walk where can see deer and pick Pecans in the fall. Town is close with a WalMart and other stuff. Staff is real nice only draw back I see is you have to leave the park to get to the Activity Center.

Gordonville: Lake Texoma 1000 trails, 209 Thousand Trails Dr. Gordonville TX 76245 (903) 523-4206
This is a real nice place with 199 full hookup sites. 30 & 50 amp but you will pay extra for 50. Park sits on 300 acres right on Lake Texoma. But the sites are some distance away. The park is mostly flat so it is easy to get around.  Only has one laundry room with 4 wash and 4 dry machines. Has a pool at the family center and one at the adult center with hot tub. The adult center is nice with pay pool table TV and more the family center has the wifi and Cafe. Also TV and pool tables. Only thing I see that may be a problem is they lease out 60 percent of the sites. This could be bad for members who want to stay when they are busy.

Harlingen: Tropic Winds Encore 1501 N Loop 499, Harlingen TX. 78550  956-423-5484
This is a Encore Park and they let TT members stay for 2 weeks for free except you have to pay the resort fee of $3.00. Large park with small sites. 535 full hookup sites with 30 & 50 Amp. You park next to a concrete pad. Park has free cable at all sites and a ton of activities. Also a pool and spa, tennis, horse shoes, RL Track and lots more. We will not be back as we did not like the high wind all the time.

Lakehills: Medina Lake 1000 Trails, 215 Spittle Rd. Lakehills, Texas 78063 (830) 751-2406
Great place with lots of trees and Deer. 260 Acres 387 sites 220 Full Hookups the rest are power and water with 30 and 50 amp. Most sites are large with pavement and gravel and a table. Good Verizon reception. There is an Activity Center, pool & hot tub mini golf and lots of other thing to play, Boat dock and ramp. My GPS could not find Lakehills address but it did find it under Pipe Creek. This is a real nice park and will stay again for sure. We stayed in F Section as it is closer to the activity center. But the Laundry is 1 mile away and there is nothing to do while you are there. They have a Cafe that is open on weekends and is real good but no store.

Point: Lake Tawakoni RV Park, 1246 Co Rd 1470, Point TX 75472  903-598-2800
This is a very large park as are most in Texas. They have 293 sites with most being full hookup but only 30 amp. They have a family center with wifi, snack bar, pool and mini golf also things for kids and family. Also there is a adult center with exercise equipment and 2 pool tables (1 regulation size) and pool and hot tube. There are lots of trails to walk and a very large lake that is low at this time. There is a Marina but no water in it right now. The staff is real nice and the keep the park looking good. Walmart is about 20 miles away and Verizon dose no work all that good and only 3G. No activities or pool in the winter.

Whitney:  Lake Whitney Thousand Trails, 417 Thousand Trails Dr. Whitney TX 76692 (245) 694-2583
Nice Park with 400-acres and some 300 sites. Most full hookup with 30 and 50 amp service (you will pay extra for 50). Lots of trees and almost level. Nice family center with pool and all that stuff and some activities, Also and Adult center with pool and spa but closed in the winter. Park is over a mile long so it is a long walk if you want one and has some nice trails. Loop D has good Verizon signal and also a Wifi signal but is spotty. Loop B also has Verizon signal but not that good also Wifi and that is the same.. They have a great staff and also have a store with some things you may need and Propane on site.

Willis: Lake Conroe TT Park, 11720 Thousand Trails Rd. Willis TX 77318 (936) 856-3751
Nice park on 128 acres and 300 sites with most full hookup and some long term.. 30 and 50 Amp (pay for 50) Family and Adult club house with laundry, pool, mini golf, some activities, small store, Cafe and Wifi. You can also get Wifi in some sites in loop G. Good Verizon signal. Not much for trees in most sites. The 50 amp sites are nicer with trees. 30 amp sites are not so good. Roads are poor as pavement is in bad shape. They have 2 boat docks but right now the lake is too low to get to them. They also have 2 ponds with small fish in them that you can watch. Don't follow GPS directions as you wont get here use park directions.

Virginia:

Gladys: Lynchburg RV Park  405 Mollies Creek Rd. Gladys VA. 24554  434-332-6660
Nice park with 199 full hookup 30 amp. sites. Sites are gravel and level. Roads are the same and can be rutted and muddy. Sat. can be hard to get but A and B section are the best. There is an adult lodge with not much in it, a family lodge, a nice pool and spa, a real nice lake with beach and fishing. also there are all the other outside things you would expect. Great areas for hiking and walking. At the time we were there it was real quiet and peaceful but not much going on. Some nice things to see in the area. Verizon works ok but a booster helps. Walmart is about 20 miles away.

Gloucester:
Chesapeake Bay RV Park, 12014 Trails Ln. Gloucester VA 23061  804-693-6924
Very nice park with 355 FHU back in sites some with 50amp but you have pay for them. Sites are gravel and grass with table and fire ring in most. Some are very large with trees. Roads are mostly gravel and in good shape. There are lots of annuals but easy to find a nice site if you come in early in the week. There is a nice store that sell good ice cream, a lodge that is half family and café and half adult. There is a game room for kids with arcade games, lots of game courts and a real nice mini golf. There are several ponds that you can fish and kayak in for free and also a boat launch to the river. Adult and family pool and a very nice hot tub. Verizon was good and Sat. was easy to get sort of. There is a Walmart about 15 miles away, also there are lost of things to see in the area.

Williamsburg: Williamsburg TT Park, 4301 Rochambeau Dr. Williamsburg VA 23188 757-566-3021
Good  park with some 149 sites and 59 cabin sites. Most of the cabins have been sold and are now annual sites. The park is about 50 percent annual and the rest are for camping. The sites have 30 and 50 Amp at no charge and are all full hookup and mostly pull through.. There are lots of trees so it is hard to get Satellite but  Verizon works real good.  There are 2 pools one inside and one out also an adult lodge and a family lodge. The family area has lots of Video games and two pool tables. Only draw back is they are not free. There are all the outside game courts and a nice Mini Golf. Roads are paved and sites are gravel but could use some leveling. There is a small pond with fish in it for fishing. There are several Bath houses that are kept clean. All in all the park is real nice. Soon there will be cable and internet at all sites for a fee. Close to shopping and lots of tourist things to see. Also the staff are great and real friendly. No Free Wifi

Washington:

Blaine: Birch Bay TT Park, 8418 Harborview Rd. Blaine, WA 98230  360-371-7432
Nice park with 193 Full Hookups sites and 30 Amp. Park is in two phases, Phase one is the older part with tall trees and most of the full time sites. There are 4 power boxes in one spot that 4 rigs plug into and it makes it close. Would be hard to get Satellite there and it is where most of the people with kids go. Phase two is open and no trees but the sites are large  and are mostly pull through with grass and tables. I like it better there. There is a small pool an adult club house with pool table and Wifi. There is also a family club house with things for the kids. Several play grounds and other things to do. Roads are mostly gravel and so are the sites. Staff is great and friendly. Verizon is good. Wal-Mart is about 19 miles away. The Canadian Border is about 5 miles north.

Bow: Mt. Vernon 5409 N Darrk Lane Bow WA. 98232  360-724-4811
240 acre park with 227 power and water sites 30amp. Only 13 sites with sewer. Power is bad most times but a booster dose help lots. Roads are gravel and dusty. Sites are nice and some can get Sat. Verizon is ok but up and down. There is a nice club house with adult area down stairs. Also has a store and café that are nice. Actives are real good. Staff is great and do a good job. These are lots of game courts and a mini golf. There are lots of trees and bushes so sites are some what privet. Shopping is about 12 miles away. There is a casino right out side the gate. Bathrooms are clean and nice but only have one shower each.

Chehalis: Chehalis TT Park 2228 Centralia-Alpha Rd. Chehalis, WA 98532  360-262-9489
Nice Treed park on 300 acre 300+ sites. 30 and some 50 amp sites with water. They do have some sewer sites but very few. Park is spread out and has lots of trails and roads to walk with some hills.
They had both Adult and Family pools and Club houses. There lots of things for kids to play on and do and some more for the Adults. Bathrooms are clean the only draw back is there is only one shower in each for men and one for the ladies. Verizon works good and the air card gets 4G for the internet. Getting your satellite to work can be hard. This was the first TT park. Staff is friendly but limited do to cut backs. Hope that changes for there sakes.

Grandy Creek TT Park, 7370 Russell RD. Concrete, WA. 98237  360-826-3554
Very nice small park with 100 RV sites some 50Amp the rest are 30. Maybe half are sewer. The park is also KOA so there are only 47 sites for TT RVs. and only about 7 of those can get Sat. The park is clean and the staff is great. There are lots of things for the kids to do with mini golf and other game courts. There is a pool and spa but no adult center and a very small family center. There is a store and on weekend they have breakfast. Roads are gravel and dusty when people drive too fast. Verizon works good here and there is a Walmart about 25 miles away. Some nice things to see in the area and several lakes to fish and boat on.

La Conner: La Conner TT Park, 16362 Shee Oosh Rd, LA Conner WA 98257   360-466-3558
Very nice park on 111 acres with 22l Power and water sites and 55 full hookup sites that are mostly large and level. Right on Puget Sound with lots of trees. Roads are good but dirt, Staff is great, Boat Launch is ok, they have a Family Lodge with Hot Tub but no Pool. Also it has Wfi but it is poor to say the least. There is also an Adult Lodge with Pool table. Also there is a store and food Bar but only open on weekends. Verizon is poor but booster will bring it in ok. Hard to find a site for Satellite because of the trees. This park is on an Indian Reservation that TT leased the land.

Leavenworth: Leavenworth TT Park, 20752 Chiwawa Loop Rd. Leavenworth WA. 98826 (509) 763-3217
Another Thousand Trails Park and about 300 acres with 60 full hookup sites and 260 water and electric. Power is 30 or 50 Amp and is good. Sites are large, level and shaded as there are lots of trees. Some sites can get  satellite but most cant. Verizon is good and air card works good too. Roads and sites are gravel. Nice Club house with table games and Store. Pool is big and look great. There are game courts and a mini golf course. Great walking trails and bike trails. They have two ponds but no fishing. Some humidity and Mosquitoes.  Park is quiet and peaceful. Town is about 20 miles away.

Monroe: Thunderbird TT Park, 26702 Ben Howard RD. Monroe WA 98272  360-794-8987
This is a real nice park with only100 sites, 50 are Full hookup and 40 are water and elec. that sit on a real nice river with 50 and 30 AMP power. There is two pools and one wading pool and one hot tub. Adult club house with TV, Pool table and Wifi and exercise stuff. Family Club house has kid stuff, TV, and a small café that is open in the summer and Wifi. There is a laundry, Picnic area, Play Ground and a great Mini Golf Course this is the best one I have seen in a TT park. Verizon works real good here. We stayed on the River side as it is easer to get TV and Quieter with less kids. Staff is real friendly and the Manager Dave is great. We really like this park but it is a high use park and you can only stay 2 weeks.
Stayed again in 9/2015 Stayed on the full hookup side. It is hard to get Sat. but it can be done. Park is fuller this time and harder to find a good site. They are leased 30% and most are on full hookup.

Newport: Little Diamond TT Park, 1002 McGowen Rd. Newport WA. 99156 (509) 447-4813
This is a Thousand Trails Park on 300 acres with 300 power and water sites. No sewer but 2 dump sites.
Half of the park is TT and the other part is KOA. Very small adult club house with Wifi. Family lodge with pool and spa. Also pool tables and ping pong table. Nice lake that you can fish for trout with no licence.
Sites and roads are gravel, some are small but some are large enough for big rigs. Satellite sites are few but there are some. You can get regular TV from your antenna. Verizon works good here. One thing to keep in mind. most sites have the power and water at the front of the site. So be sure you have a long enough cord and hose with you. All in all this is a real nice wooded place. With friendly staff with great attitude.

Ocean City: Oceana TT Park, 2733 State Rout 109, Ocean City, WA 98569  360-289-3504
This is a small TT Park with 100 sites, Water and 30Amp with some 50 Amp and very few Sewer sites. There is a Club house and Kids stuff but no Pool. Sites are a bit close but not bad. Bushes and trees surround the park but not much in the park. There is a trail to the beach (about 400yds) and is an easy walk. Verizon is poor but a Booster makes it good. With 4G for the hot spot. Clean Showers and Bathrooms. Staff is small and real nice.

Quincy: Crescent Bar TT Park. 9252 Crescent Bar Rd. NW, Quincy WA 98848 (509) 787-4349
This is another Thousand trails Park, But not near as large as others. It has 100 full hookup sites with 30 and 50 Amp. service. Sites and roads are gravel and some sites could use a little leveling. They have a pool, spa and some game courts. They also have a club house with wifi and game tables. The staff is real pleasant and work real hard at keeping the park in good order. The park sits on the Columbia River and you have a great view of it. Just not much access to it. Nice little town down the road about a half mile. It is Crescent bar and has a small store and Bar

Seaview, Long Beach TT Park, 2215 Willows Rd. Seaview WA. 98644 360-642-3091
This is a small park with 120 small sites. They are kind of short and it is hard for a 40 ft. unit to get in. They all have full hookups but half are on the wrong side. There is a pool and soon a club house. They also have the usual other things like horse shoes and play ground. Verizon is ok but not great but a booster sure helps.

Silver Creek; Paradise TT Park. 173 Salem Plant Rd. Silver Creek WA 98985  360-985-2756
This is a mid size park with 70 full hookup and 88 water and elec. sites with 30 and 50 Amp. (no fee). But there is more sites than they list on TT web page. The park is on a hill side and most sites are  cut into the hill and can be small and hard to level up on for my motorhome. It can also be hard to get Satellite as there are lots of trees in some areas but Verizon works great. There is about all the outdoor courts you could ever want, great pool system for all, several club houses and a café on weekends and a store also a laundry. Staff is great and works hard along with Brian the manager. There are allot of sites that are not open at this time as there is no water to them. So the park could be much bigger. Roads are gravel so they  can be real dusty when people drive too fast.

Coolidge: Indian Skies RV Park, 1050 S Arizona Blvd. Coolidge AZ 85128  520-723-1109
This is a destination park with lots of permanent sites  but they have expanded to almost 300 sites. Most sites are small but nice. We stayed with Passport America. They have all full hookup sites with 30 & 50 amp. There is all the thing you would want to do like a pool and hot tub and all the rest plus WiFi through the park but it is hard to get on. . Wall-mart is close and Verizon works good.

Sun City: Paradise RV Resort, 10950 W. Union Hills Dr. Sun City AZ 85373 (623)977-0344

They have over 900 sites that are full hookup most are large and easy to get into. They have tons of things to do and lots of activities. Would stay again as I can use my RPI and get a discount. This is also a 55+ park and also have separate areas for people who have pets so they dont bother others.

Small Park with 30 and 50 amp full hookup sites. Some long pull through sites. There is bath and shower, Pool and Store with some food and Beer that is about it. WhFi  didn't work while I was here and the cable TV was very limited. All to be fixed now as there is a new Manager who cares. Or so it seemed. Verizon worked good and my Dish didn't work as I was too close to trees. Would stay again as Passport America was only $17.00 a night and it is a good overnight stop

Weed: Friendly RV Park  1800 Black Butte Dr. Weed CA 96094 530-938-2805
Small park with not much to offer. 30 Amp pull through sites with sewer and water. Cable and Wifi with good Verizon and Sat. reception. $32.00 a night and not much else in the area. Easy on and off the Hwy.

Winterhaven: Pilot Knob RV Park, 3707 W. Hwy. 8, Winterhaven CA. 92283  760-572-5142
We stayed here under RPI and it is a nice park. about 250 full hookup sites that are gravel and level. There is 30 and 50 Amp hookup. There is a small pool and spa, pool tables, shuffleboard and things like that. Nice club house with some activities. Good place to stay if you are going down into Mexico. Staff is nice and Verizon worked good. If you can get a site that faces north to keep the sun out of your windshield.

Colorado:

Englewood: Flying Saucer Mobile park, 2500 W Hampden Ave. Englewood CO 80110  3037891707
Ok park with no real features except a Laundry. They have 167 full hookup sites with 30 & 50 Amp.
We stayed for a month at $525.00 plus elec. There is some road noise as we were right on Hampden but other than that the park is quiet. Sites are level and have a concrete patio and grass. Close to shopping and restaurants and Verizon work great. They also have Wifi at the office and 100 ft. away.

Englewood: South Park RV Park, 3650 S. Federal Blvd Englewood CO 80110 3037610121
This is a Mobile Home and RV park. With 200 sites with full hookups and 30 and 50 amp. There is a pool and club house but pool is closed in the winter. There is two rate plans for staying winter is cheaper. Park is a 55+ park and dose not allow dogs but cats are ok on a leash. Verizon is good and Sat. is ok if you get the right spot. Staff is ok but maintenance  is slow. Another draw back is the water and sewer hookup is under your rig. Sites are large and Quiet most of the time. You pay $650 after Oct.1

Seibert, Shady Grove RV Park, 306 Colorado Ave, 80836, (970) 664-2218
This is a ok place for a stop over. Has 30 and 50 Amp hookups. Water but not in the winter, and sewer, free WiFi, They clam to have cable but it is really just TV. Also have a above ground pool and a hot tub. We stayed on a Passport America membership and it was 14.00 per night. Sites are level and interior is mostly dirt with some grass. Some trees so there would be shade in the summer. Also have laundry. The owners are real nice and very helpful.

Florida:

Arcadia: Toby's RV Resort  3550 N.E. Hwy.70 Arcadia FL 34266  863-494-1744
This is an Encore Park that we get a discount at. The Park has some 350 sites that are full hookup and have 30 and 50 amp. Sites are level and grass with a small concrete pad. No tables but that is ok. They have a pool and hot tub, rec. center, and game counts. There are lots of activities and something going on every day. Roads are tight but the sites are kind of large but can be hard to back into. Verizon works real good and the Sat. is ok except in our site I have a tree in the way. There is a small fishing pond. Only bad thing is some of the trees need trimming and if you are in the area of the maint. shop the smell can be bad when the wind is just right. As the waste treatment plant is in there.

Big Pine Key: Sunshine Key RV Park, 38801 Overseas Hwy, Big Pine Key FL.  305-872-0348
This is a nice park as far as Encore parks go. Some of the roads are real tight trying to get to your site. I could not get to mine the way they told me to so had to try another road and ended up taking down a Palm Tree in the process. We stay under Ready Camp GO so we paid $23.00 a night. Others pay close to $100.00 a night. Would not pay that much to stay here. The park has large sites with 50 Amp. and Full hookups. Sites are gravel and level with little shade. There is a nice pool and game courts. Not much for a club house and no Pool table. Right on the water but not much for a beach area. There is a  Marina with boat launch and slips and store. There is a café that serves breakfast and lunch also Dinner some nights. No Walmart any place close but there is a Win Dixie and Publix. Three are lots of place to eat and Key west is only 30 miles away. Staff is friendly and nice. Verizon Worked ok but buster helped with 4G. Most of the people that stay here are here for the winter and stay 3 to 4 months. Stayed again 2016 and the park has been cleaned  up some what. Only be thing now is the water pressure is real poor. Good area to Kayak. Not sure it will be Ready Camp Go next year.

Clermont: Clerbrook RV Park, 20005 US HWY 27, Clermont FL 34715  352-394-5513
This is an Encore Park and is a destination park. They have over 1200 sites  that are 30 and 50 Amp full hook up sites. Most are long term sites with park models. There are 3 clubhouses each with pools and hot tubs. Also shuffle board and horse shoe pits and other things. The park is also a golf course if you are into golf. Sites are grass and sand and for the most part level, roads are paved. There and Alligators here but we did not see any. Bristol liked the park but I am not sure we did all that much. Not much in the area to see or do and this time of year they did not have much for activities. Activities start after Jan 1. Verizon was good and Sat was also.
We stayed here again this year (2016) three times. This time there were lots going on and we liked it here better than the TT Orlando Park

Crystal River: Crystal Isles Encore Park. 11419 W Fort Island Trail Crystal River FL 34429
Stayed here under Trails Collections. This is an Encore park and it is real nice. Sites are FHU with 50 amp. There is free cable that is good and pay wifi. There are mostly annual people here but there is lots of spots for us travelers. they have a nice Pool, hot tube and lots of game courts. There is a real nice play ground for the kids. There are two pounds and a canal but you can not swim in them at all. There is a nice boat launch and some sites have docks. There is a club house with some things to do also a Ice Cream place that serves on the weekend. Verizon works ok but could be better. There are two walmarts in the area and lots of other places to shop and eat. ONLY BAD thing is the NO SEEYUMS. No Skeeters but them other things are real bad. The people here are real friendly.

Flagler Beach: Bulow Plantation RV Park, 3345 Old Kings Rd S, Flagler Beach FL 32136
386-439-9200
This is an Encore park that is large with some 300 full and not full hookup sites. They have some 50Amp and others are 30Amp depending on what you pay. We were here free through TT and got only 30Amp full hookup and free cable but no Wifi. Our site was a side by side and we had to pull in but were nose to nose with another rig. The area we were in was setup bad for that reason. Some backed in but others pulled in so you were looking at the rig in front of you. The park is large with pool, mini golf, horse shoes and other things to do. They do have a activity center but it is only open when something is going on and there is a Bar in there with beer and wine so guess that  is one reason. The park is nice but looks trashy in places as people rake up leaves into piles but the park doesn't  pick them up. There is a lot of small cabins but they only have bunks in them and don't get much use. Some roads are paved and others are dirt causing dust as the speed limit is 15 mph here. Not that some people obey it. Lots a areas to walk. Verizon worked well and sat. can be hard to get. Shopping isn't too far away.

FT Myers: Gulf Air RV 17279 San Carlos Blvd, F38801 ort Myers, FL 33931 239-446-8100
This is a Encore Park and seems to be like most Florida parks. Small and tight. Hard to get into and out of you site. They are ok sites with 30 and 50 AMP full hookups. There is a pool and club house with laundry. There is a lot of things to see and do around here like beaches and islands. Some nice places on FT Myers Beach too. I don't know if I would come back here.

Fountain: Pine Lake RV Park, 21036 Hwy. 231, Fountain FL. 32438  850-722-1401
Nice RPI park with over 70 full hookup sites and 50 water and sewer sites with 30 & 50 Amp. Sites are grass and grave level pull through sites. With trees for shade. There is Wifi all through the park and isn't too bad most of the time. There is a lake you can fish without a license but is catch and release. They also have a rec. hall, horse shoe pits, laundry, gym, bath and showers and a sports field. Owners are real friendly and keep the park in nice shape.

Long Key: Fiesta Key RV Park, 70001 Overseas Hwy, Long Key FL 33001   305-249-1037
We did not stay here but did a drive through. This is another Encore Park. They have some 400 sites all are 30 & 50 amp. Some are only water and elec. Sites are close together in some areas. They have a lot of tent sites. There is a great marina and beach area and a café. There is lots of thing for people to do and play. Only bad thing is the price, they can run from $168 a night to $85 in the high use time. Don't think we would stay there.

Lutz: Winter Quarters Pasco 21632 State Road 54 Lutz FL 33549  813-949-6551
This is an Encore park and kind of nice. We get to stay for free. They have 256 full hookup sites with 30 and 50 Amp. Sites are kind of small but big enough for us. There is a nice Clubhouse with card tables and a pool table. They also have some activities all week long and food on the weekend. There is a nice pool and shuffleboard. There are three ponds and we are backed up to the small one. Staff is friendly. Verizon is good and so is Sat. Walmart is about 2 miles away.

Moore Haven: MRV Park, 17192 US HWY 27, Moore Haven FL 33471  863-946-6616
This is a Passport America park and is real nice. They have over 200 sites with full hookups and 50 Amp. Sites are level and have some kind of grass with Patio pads on most. There is a club house with a Café, Pool Tables and other things like activities. Also there is a pool and outside game courts. There are several ponds and one is stocked with fish. Walmart is about 23 miles away and most all things are some distance away. The staff is great and the park is quiet with little shade. Verizon works good and has 4G.
Ormond Beach: Sunshine Holiday Daytona. 1701 N Hwy 1 Ormond Beach FL 386-672-3045
This is an Encore Park that we drove through to check it out. They have some 600 sites with most being FHU and 50amp. Most are pull through with a small cement pad. There is a pool and all the normal things to play on. Sites are not as big as some places but they are nice. Close to Daytona and shopping. Verizon works ok. Only bad thing is when you leave the park you can only turn right and make a U-turn in 250ft. Would stay for sure.

Zephyrhills: Forest Lake Village, 41219 Hockey DR. Zephyrhills FL 33540  813-782-1058
This is a Encore Park that we stayed under TC for free. Nice park that was just taken over by ELS. Part of the park is a mobile home community and no rv's are allowed. The part we are in is for RV's and Park Models. Sites are all back in but big enough for a 45ft. unit and you have a nice concrete pad for all your stuff they are also FHU. There is a nice club house with lots of game courts to play on not to mention a real nice pool. They do have some activities like Bingo and cards and other things. All in all it is a nice place to stay. Verizon and Sat are both great. Lots of Canadians here that have been here for some time but they are real friendly. Close to Walmart and Tampa area.

Georgia:

Unadilla: Southern Trails RV Park, 2690 Arena Rd. Unadilla GA 31091  478-627-3254
We stayed here under RPI for $10.00 a night. It is a nice park with some 190 sites that have 30 or 50 amp full hookup. We took a 30 amp site as the 50 amp sites are real close to the Hwy. The roads are gravel and the sites are mostly grass. There is a mini golf coarse, Pool, Rec. room, Play Ground Laundry room and a Chapel. This a real nice park and we will stay again when coming through the area. Verizon works good and they have Wifi in the club house. Also there is cable at some sites for a fee.

Idaho:

Kellogg ID. Big Creek RV park.   24 Polaris Peak Rd. 83837 (208) 512-1700
20 sites with water and elec and that is all. No full hookups and they want more money to dump. Also charge for Wifi. Sites are long but no shade. They charge 30.00 per night and this place isn't worth 10.00. They told me they were going out of business and that is a good thing. Make sure you don't stay here.

Heyburn: Heyburn Riverside RV Park. 1177 7th. Heyburn ID. 83336 (208) 679-8158
Nice park Town run, 29 sites full hookup, 30or 50 amp. No shade to speak of, Right on the Snake River with trails to walk. Would stay here again as it is nice and price is only $21.00 for us old people.

Mountain Home: Mountain Home RV Park 2295 American Legion Blvd. Mountain Home ID
83647  208-590-1211
This is a Good Sam Park and is very nice. At $35.00 a night it is a bargain. Nice large pull through sites with 30 and 50 amp, concrete pads, table, wifi and cable. Lots of grass and small trees. There is a club house, pool, dog run, and other things to do. Real nice bathrooms and laundry. Only draw back I could see was some of the long term people don't think the rule apply to them. They don't think there dogs have to be on a leash. Hope they start working on this rule.

Ogden: Wasatch View, 1700 W 2700 N, Ogden Utah 84404  801-782-4078
This is a Passport America park and is an older mobile home park with RV sites. The sites are large full hookup 30 and 50 amp. there is Wifi but at this time it isn't working. Price is $15.00 so it is a real good deal. Good view of the mountains to the west. There is a Club house with pool table and other things. There is a nice pool play area for the kids and Basket ball court. The guy Len that checked us in was great and even found us a pull through site as there is only two we were lucky and he and the staff were very friendly. Will remember to stay here again.

Indiana:

Richmond: Deer Ridge Camping Resort, 3696 Smyma Rd. Richmond IN 47374 765-939-0888
Very nice small park that takes Passport America. They have some 65 sites with 30 or 50 Amp. full hookups. There is a small but real nice mini golf course, a small pool and other things to play and do. Sites are mostly level and gravel and grass. Small store and real nice staff. Easy on and off highway. Verizon works good but Sat. can be hard to get. Will stay again.

Iowa:

West Liberty: Little Bear Campground. 1961 Garfield Ave. W. Liberty IA. 52776  319-627-2676
Nice small park with 30-50 Amp. full hookups. Most are pull through. Big Rigs ok. Sites are gravel and grass, level and can be real dusty. There is a pool (not open after Labor Day) and a play ground for kids. Great place for an over night. Verizon works real good and Sat is ok. Easy on and off the HWY.

Shelby: Shelby County Inn & RV 15 East St. Shelby IA. 51570   712-544-2766
Ok small park attached to a motel. Sites are grass and gravel Pull through full hookup. With 30 and 50 for the same price. That about all this park has to offer but good for a one night stay. No discounts, Verizon is ok and easy to get Sat.

Kansas:

Assaria KS. Lakeside Recreation Park, 1288 E. Lapsley Rd. 67416 (785) 822-8463
This is a real nice place with 40 sites and room for big rigs. 30 and 50 Amp. water sewer and Wifi.
We stayed under Passport America for $15.00 well worth the money. They have trees so there would be shade in the summer. Also there is a small lake to fish and swim in. They are off the main drag somewhat and the road  is dirt and rough. Would stay here for sure. Link to web site: http://www.lakesiderec.org/

Oakley: High Plains RV Park, 462 US Hwy 83, Oakley KS. 67748 785-672-3538
This is a nice park and we will stay again. They have only about 38 site with 30 and 50 amp full hookup. Not much shade and the wind blows allot. Sites are gravel and grass and level. One nice thing is they have a Bar and Café here that has good food and been. They also have a mini golf course, Pool, horse shoes and other things to do. Also there are 2 hot tubs. Staff is great.

Paxico: Mill Creek RV Park, 22470 Campground Rd. Paxico KA. 66526  785-636-5321
Nice small park with 47 sites with 30 or 50 amp full hookups. site are level and gravel, looks like they can be a bit muddy if it rains. There is Wifi for free and it is ok. Price was $28.50 for 50 amp. Biggest draw back is it is between the Hwy and the RR tracks. Can be hard to sleep at night.
link to web site: http://www.millcreekcampground.com/

Russell: Triple J Campground, 187 Edwards, Russell KA. 67665 785-483-4826
Nice small park with 55 total RV sites, can accommodate RV’s up to 80’, large rigs are welcome, full hook-ups, 30/50-amp, restrooms & showers, cable TV, commercial laundry room, mini-golf, WIFI, horseshoes, shade, and patios. Restaurants are within walking distance. Verizon works good. We stayed under PA for $15.00 a night. Will stay again when we are going through.
2015 price went to $20.00 per night.

Maine:

Bar Harbor: Mt. Desert Narrows, 1219 ST. HWY.3 Bar Harbor ME 04609  207-288-4782
We did not stay here at this Encore Park but did a walk through. They have around 258 sites but only about 60 are full hookup. The one we would have to stay in under Ready Camp Go would only be W/E site and you have to pay for the honey wagon. The park is geared for family's and has lots of thing for kids to do. Sat would be hard to get in lots of sites and Verizon is ok. There are some nice  water front sites but they are expensive. We will not be staying in this park.

Trenton: Narrows Too, 1150 Bar Harbor RD. Trenton ME. 04605  207-667-4300
The is real nice Encore Park. We stayed under Ready Camp Go for $24.00 a night. Will stay here again. There are about 205 full hookup sites with 30 or 50 Amp cable sites. Roads are all gravel as are the sites and level. The park is geared for adults so if you have kids you may want to try Mt. Desert Narrows. They try to have something going on most weekends. Staff is real friendly and helpful. Sat was easy to get in most areas of the park, Verizon worked ok but a bit slow. All in all a very good park.

Maryland:

College Park: Cherry Hills Park, 9800 Cherry Hill, College Park, MD 20740  301-937-7116
Real nice park with some 400 sites with full hookups, 30 and 50 Amp, table and fire ring. Sites are gravel and level for the most part and roads are paved. There are lots of trees but most sites can get satellite. They have a great club house with two pools, Café, Laundry, hot tub and sauna. The staff is great and will give you all the information on touring DC. Verizon works great and the park has free Wifi through out the park and cable at all sites. At the office they have a small store and a big RV store. The price is a bit steep for me but the park is full most of the time as it is the closest RV park to DC. Very nice park and would recommend it if you are in the area.

Massachusetts:

Brimfield: Sturbridge Camp Club, 49 E. Brimfield-Holland Rd, Brimfield MA 01010 413-245-9525
This is a RPI and ROD Park. Nice enough but sites are close together and short for the most part. The camp ground guide is wrong. They have lots of sites and most are full hookup with 30 and 50 AMP. and most of the power is new.  But maybe they only have a small amount for RPI. In most sites if you have a large RV you will have to park your car in the parking lot as there isn't enough room at you site.  There is a nice pool and club house with good activities on the weekends. There is a large lake that the park has a beach on. No swimming in it right now do to bad water. That is due to a twister that went through here in 2011. Will stay here again when in the area as the TT park is too small and real tight. Good Verizon and I got Sat. just fine in the area I was camped. Site 440

Mississippi:

Pass Christian: Wolf River Resort, 23098 Freddie Frank Rd. Pass Christian MS. 39571 228-452-9100
This is a RPI/Coast to Cost park that is my home park. They have around 140 full hookup sites some with 50amp. Sites are gravel as are the roads with concrete pads in some. There is a pond to fish in as well as the Wolf River. Also they have a club house, laundry, pool and some game courts. They keep the park up very well and the grass is cut all the time. Verizon works great with a full signal. There is also a boat ramp. Lots to see and do in the area also. Only bad thing was the humidity while we were here.

Missouri:

Branson: Treasure Lake Resort, 1 Treasure Lake DR. Branson MO. 65616  417-334-1040
Big park with some 600 sites with 30 & 50 Amp. full, hookup sites. Most are level with concrete pads and some with gravel. Lots of trees so finding one for a roof mount satellite dish is a bit hard but we had no trouble finding one. They have an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. Also a game room with things to play and lots of thing outside too. There is a great Mini Golf course. There is a lake to fish in but there is a fee for that. Roads are paved and in good shape. Verizon works good and so dose the air card. This park is under my RPI membership so it was a bargain and is right in the middle of Branson.

Sedalia: Chaplin's RV Park 4000 W. Main, Sedalia MO. 65301  (660) 596-2842
Very small park with 33 total RV sites, can accommodate RV’s up to 50 ft., full hookups with 20/30/50 amp service, pull-through sites, dump station, water, sewer, fire rings, nature watching, picnic area, horse welcomes, biking, no restrooms or showers. Pets welcome, RV storage. Located 68 miles from Kansas City and 120 miles from Springfield, MO. Close to state fairgrounds. 3 blocks to Wal-Mart. Sites are close together and not all that level. We stayed under PA for $20.00 (for 50amp) and that is a bit high for this park. Not sure I would come again.

Wildwood: DR. Babler State Park, 901 Babler Park Dr. Wildwood MO 63005
Nice state park with room for big rigs. Sites are concrete slab with table and elec. Water and sewer are at the dump site. 23.00 a night for 50 amp. Wifi is the best I have ever seen in a camp ground. Will stay here again for sure.

Montana:

Coram MT. Sundance RV Park, 10545 US Hwy 2 East Coram MT 59913 (406) 387-5016
They have 22 large pull through sites with lots of pine trees. Water and 30 or 50 Amp. no sewer. They do have a dump site. Owners are real nice and bend over backwards to help. Price is $30.00 per night. A bit high for what you get but they are only 6 miles from the west gate of Glacier National Park. The only two things I can say that are bad is the no sewer hookups and the trains that go by some place behind us.
They have very clean and new bath room and shower. Also there is a laundry. If you use a GPS to get here it will tell you that you are there but you need to go about a 1/2 mile farther up the road and look for them on the north side of the road.

Garrison MT. Riverfrount RV Park 115 Riverfrount Ln. Garrisont MT. 59731 (800) 255-1318
They have 50 sites and the pull throughs are real large. Over 100 ft. 30 and 50 amp with full hookups.
Rec. Room with games and laundry (and they are nice) Also has bathroom and shower in same location.
Sites are large and are grassy. Not alot of shade but temp was good. This is a Good Sam Park so price was $26.00. Nice staff and will stay here again.

Reed Point Mt: Old West Rv Park. 4 N. Division St Reed Point Mt 59069 (406) 326-2394
The reviews do not do this place justice. It has over 20 sites all are Gravel and have full hookups with 50 amp. Not much shape. Staff is great they have a nice laundry and bath and shower. There is a great Bar up the street that has good food and beer. Stayed under Passport America and it was 16.00 for the night. They also have free Wifi. Would stay again.

Nevada:

New Mexico:

Carlsbad: Carlsbad RV Park, 4301 National Parks Hwy, Carlsbad NM. 88220 (575) 885-6333
Very nice park with large gravel sites with 30 & 50 Amp full hookups. They have nice bathrooms with showers, a heated indoor pool, playground, laundry and good gravel roads. Very friendly staff good Verizon and cable tv. It is a bit pricey at $38.00 a night. I dont think we would stay again but you never know.

Capulin: Capulin RV Park, 7 S. Santa FA Ave, Capulin, NM 88414  575-278-2921
This is a ok small park with 25 full hookup sites, There is 50 amp and free Wifi that is real good. Sites are all gravel and level. There is a bath house and laundry that are clean. Great place to stay the night as it is a Pass Port America and is only 14.00 a night.

Gallup: Red Rocks State Park, 5757 Red Rocks DR Gallup NM 87311 (505) 722-3839
Nice park owned my the City of Gallup. They have over 100 sites with water and electric (30 and 50 amp)
Most sites are small but some are big pull though. They have 2 dump sites, Bath and showers. Only draw back is right now (3-21-2012) the sites are hard to figure out as there is lots of sand that has blown in and not cleaned up yet. Would stay here again as an over night stop as the price is good at $20.00

Las Cruces: Coach Light RV Park, 301 S Motel Blvd, Las Cruces NM 88007  575-526-3301
Nice enough park with full hookup sites that are pull through. Park is part of a Motel and you can use the Motel stuff. Good for the night and it is a Pass Port America park so the rate was 18.65.

Raton: Kickback RV Park,1025 Frontage Rd.,Raton, NM 87740 (575) 445-1200
Ok park small but nice. Has 30 sites with full hookups and 30 & 50 amp. Price was $28.00 for 30 amp. Sites are level and all gravel. Only draw back is it is right off the Hwy. and you can hear the traffic on the raod. Real nice people run the park.

Santa Fa: Santa Fa Skies RV Park, 14 Browncastle Ranch Santa Fe, New Mexico 87508 (505)473-5946
Ok Park but not much on amenities They have lots of pull through  with full hook ups and 30 or 50 amp elec. Wind blows most of the time and all sites are gravel so may be dusty. Price was about 35.00 so high for what you get. They do have a nice Bath and laundry and a small store. Best thing is the view. You can see forever.

Vado: Western Sky's RV. 16201 Las Alturas Dr. Vado NM 88072 (575) 233-2573
72 sites with full hookups. 30& 50 amp. Laundry, Showers and bath, Cable and Wifi. We stayed under Pass Port America and it was $20.00. That was way too much for this place as there isn't much. Sites are packed sand with trees all over. Some too close. All pull troughs but a little tight. Cable only has 3 channels but wifi works OK at your site. Verizon works good. Showers and Bath not real clean and Laundry the same and some machines not working. Dose have a play ground for the kids but don't look too safe. Lots of long term sites and dogs all over and not on leash. So there is dog shit all over.  Would not stay again.

NEW YORK:

Bainbridge: Riverside RV Park 1303 Co. Rd, 39 Bainbridge NY 13733 607-967-2102
Very small park with maybe 20 sites. The are full hookup and 30amp. Some pull through but most back in. Mostly grass and level. Owner is real friendly and people here are too. There is Wifi and cable included and both are good. Verizon works good but Sat. would be real hard. Right on the Susquehanna River. If we were here longer I would Kayak it. But just one day. We will stay again when coming through here.

Bridgewater: Lake Chalet Campground, 593 ST. RT8, Bridgewater NY. 13313  315-822-6074
This is a small Pass Port America park. It only has about 30 sites for RV's. They have full hookups and they are 30 or 50 AMP. The only draw back is there rate is not what PA said it should be. It was much higher. Hope they get it straightened out some day. There is a nice small lake that you can fish in or go swimming. The sites are back in and there are not allot of sites a 40ft motorhome can get in but they do have some. There are lots of things to see in the area but we do not have the time to see them. Verizon worked good here but could not get Sat. No cable and not much  over the air either. Glad we are only here for one night. Regular rate is $42.00 a night and that is some what high for what they have.

Cuba: Maple Lane RV Park 5233 Maple Lane, Cuba NY 14727  585-968-1677
Very nice small park. Has several different rates just depends on what kind of site you want. Seeing as we are only here for the night we took a 30Amp, water site. $30.00. Most sites are pull through and grass. There is a nice laundry room but that is about all. They do have good Wifi and Sat was easy to get. Verizon is the best I have seen in along time.  The guy that is running the park is great and real friendly. He even takes you to you site.

Gasport:  Niagara Hartland RV Park, 2383 Hartland Rd. Gasport NY 14067  716-795-3812
Stayed here under Pass Port America. Very nice park with 100 full hookup sites. Most sites are 30 and 50 amp. Sites are gravel and level, most have concrete pads and grass. There is a nice small lake to fish, swim or boat in. 2 bath houses that could use some updating, a small club house that is only open when there is an activity going on. Lots to see and do in the area like Niagara Falls and others. The owner is real nice and most of the staff are too. Park is well maintained and looks nice. They even have some chickens and Guiney hens. PA price was $16.00 plus metered electric. Verizon Worked good but Dish Sat. is a bit hard to get. trees.

North Carolina
Twin Lakes RV Park 1618 Memory Lane, Chocowinity, NC 27817  252-9465700
This is a nice encore park with some 360 RV sites with most being annuals. The sites are back in sites with 30 or 50 amp full hookups. There are lots of trees so sat can be hard to get ( even number sites in P row are best) There is river access with several boat ramps and a nice dock. There is a nice store and the people running thing are very nice. Not much as far as activities this time of year. After Memorial Day they open the two pools and start doing things for activities.  Most roads are dirt and there are several ponds that you can fish if you want. Not much for kids here but there a small play ground with swing set and stuff. There are games and pool tables in the store area but they are the pay type. Verizon worked good but booster made it better. Not much to see and do in the area. Shopping is about 7 miles away.

Also there is a new bath house and a laundry. There is also a bike path that runs behind the park and goes for about 20 miles along the river. Only discount is Good Sam or Woodall. We paid $36.00 with discount. Staff is great and real friendly.

This is a PA park and is half price at $13.00 a night for 50 Amp. Only 29 sites but they are real nice.
Sites are gravel with grass between. Some have full hookup but most are water and 30 or 50 Amp. There is a play ground and other things for the kids, a nice bathroom and a laundry. It is located right on the Snake River in the Oregon trail area. Verizon works good and Sat. too.  Will stay again.
Web Site:     Catfish Junction RV Park
2017 They have taken over the park that was next door so now have 44 sites. Park looks real good still and the owner is real friendly. Check in time is 1:00.

La Grand: Eagles Hot Lake RV Park, 65182 Hot Lake Lane, La Grand OR.97850 541-963-5253
Very nice park 100 sites, 30 or 50 Amp. full hookups. Pool, store, and things for the kids. Nice level long pull through sites. This is a Good Sam park. Nice place and will stay again. Only draw back is the humidity and it was high.

Port Orford: Evergreen RV Park, 839 Coast Guard Hill, Port Orford. OR 97465 (541) 332-5942
Very Small park with only 14 sites $29.00 per night but we used Passport America and it was half price. Most are long term rentals. So call ahead to make sure they have a spot open. Most back in sites, can take large rigs. Full hookups with cable and wifi included. Small laundry room and shower. Great staff

Rockaway Beach: Paradise Cove RV & Marina, 32455 Hwy. 101 OR 97136 (503) 368-6581
Nice size park but split up on both sides of the Hwy. We stayed on the Bay side as we camped under RPI. This is a ROD member park so they stay on the other side in larger sites but no view like we had.
They have full hookups and 30 amp. Pool and hot tub, laundry, 2 club houses, boat dock with crab cooking pot. We had good Verizon reception. The staff is real nice and helpful. We stayed in space 59 and it had a great view of the Bay. Not sure if I would stay again as there is not much to do around here. Would stay if only passing through. If you are a fisherman with a boat it would be a good place.

Sutherlin: Umpqua Golf & RV Park, 1919 Recreation La. Sutherlin, OR 97479 (541)459-4423
This is a small park attached to a Golf Course. It is real nice with 30 and 50 Amp full hookup sites that are concrete, gravel and level. They have full cable and great Wifi that is included. The place is kept real clean and in great shape. We stayed under Pass Port America so the $17.50 rate was a steal.

South Carolina: Bass Lake RV Park. 1149 Bass Lake Place, Dillon, SC  843-774-9100
This is a nice Passport America park. There are some 50 sites that are mostly pull through full hookup with either 30 or 50 amp. PA rate was 19.44 including tax. Sites are mostly grass and open. There is a bath house and laundry room. Also a real nice lake that you can fish if you want. There are also lots of turtles if you like to watch them. Verizon works great and Sat was easy to get. Great place to stop and visit and we will for sure next time through.

South Dakota:

Rapid City: Hart Ranch 23756 Arena Dr, Rapid City, SD 57702  (605) 399-2582
This is one of the best parks we have stayed in. Stayed under RPI for 15.00 a night. They have around 400 sites that are all full Hookup with 30&50 amp. also concrete pads and paved roads. Lots of amenities like a restaurant, Gas station, repair shop, golf course, mini golf, pool, tennis courts and lots more. Verizon and Sat all work great. This has to be a 5 Star park and we will stay again.

Sturigs;  Sturigs RV Park, 1175 W. Woodland DR. Sturigs SD. 55785 (605) 720-1501
Very large park with over 200 sites. They would need it for the rally. We stayed under Pass Port America so the fee was only $12.50 a night. 1/2 price. They have nice clean restroom and laundry in both bathrooms.  They also have 30 and 50  Amp service and full hookups. No shade and all gravel sites. This is a great park for the price. Real nice people running the place as they let me wash my rig at no cost and even have a motorcycle wash station. Will stay there again for sure.

Sioux Falls: Tower Campground, 4609 W. 12th St. Sioux Falls, SD  57106   888-578-3579
Real nice park with over 100 sites that are full hookup with 30 & 50 Amp. Also Wifi, Good Cable all for the same price of 36.00 plus tax. Sites are paved or gravel and roads are paved. The new side is nicer than the old side and sites are bigger. Verizon works good and some sites are Sat. friendly. Staff is great.

Wall: Arrow Campground 515 Crown St. Wall SD. 57790  605-279-2112
Small park with different kinds of sites. You can have 50 Amp full hookup or 30 Amp water site. We took a 30 and water as we are only here for 2 nights. The only big draw to this place is the location. Wall Drug just down the street and the Badlands about 9 miles away. Sites are gravel as are most of the roads. It is a nice enough place for a day or so. Verizon works good.

Tennessee:

Memphis: Graceland RV Park, 3691 Elvis Presley Blvd. Memphis TN 38116  901-396-9466
Nice park right at Graceland and only half a block away from the exhibits. Most sites are pull through with full hookups and 30&50amp. Sites are level and gravel with some grass and a table. They have Wifi and it is free and good. There is a small play ground for the kids and a pool. Staff is great and they will even pick up your trash and throw it away for you. Bathroom are clean but a bit run down also a nice laundry room. Also a gift shop at the office with some other things. Verizon is good and Sat is easy to get.

Texas:

Amarillo: Aok Camper Park, 901 Spur 228, Amarillo, TX 79111     805-335-2677
Ok Small park with 45 full hookup sites, 30 and 50 AMP. Not much of any thing else not even a Bath house. Site were level and gravel and not much shade. Close to HWY so easy on and off. Stayed under PA so price was 12.50 and well worth that. Good place for a stop over and would stay again when passing through.

Carrizo Springs: Brush Country RV Park, Hwy 277-201 North 23rd St. Carrizo Springs TX 78834
830-876-5583 Not much of a park but it did ok for the night. Some pull through sites with full hookups. Real close to the Hwy. so there was noise all night. Sites were all dirt and sand.

Fort Stockston: Parkview RV Park, 735 S HWY 285, Fort Stockston, TX 79735 (432) 336-7733
86 Full Hookup sites with 30 and 50 amp service. No trees, flat gravel sites, Cable (for a fee) Wifi, Laundry and Showers. Good place for a stop over. Only $10.00 with Passport America.

Rockport: Bay View RV Park 5451 Hwy 35N, Rockport TX 78382 (361) 400-6000
305 Full Hookup sites with 30 and 50 Amp. sites are gravel kind of level. There is WiFi through the park and at my site it was great. Verizon Air card works great with 4G but for some reason the phone signal is real weak. Staff and other campers are friendly. They have several ponds but low water at this time. They had Alligators in the big pond but got rid of them some time ago. They have a play ground for the kids and two pools. But the adult one is closed for remodel. Also two club houses with lots of activities. This is a big park with large sites. There monthly rates are real low so would be a good place to stay for awhile. Lots to see around the area. The power here is kind of weak so a booster would be a good thing.

Utah:

Joseph, Utah, Flying U Country Store and RV Park. 45 S. State St. (866) 527-4758
$20.00 per night, All gravel sites, Little Shade, Full Hookup. 30& 50 Amp, Most all sites are Pull-Thurs, Clean, Friendly Staff. Great Place for the price.

Vermont:

Pownal: Pine Hollow Campground, 342 Pine Hollow Rd. Pownal, VT 05261  802-823-5569
This is a small Good Sam Park in the middle of no place. It is very nice and offers lots of different stay options. We went with Water/Elec for 31.00 a night as we were only staying for the nigh. There is a small lake that you can play in. Sites are kind of level and nice roads are gravel as is the road to the park. They put us in the group area as we didn't want to disconnect. Verizon is real bad and Sat isn't going to happen. There is a bath house and some minor things to play on. There is cable and Wifi included. Cable not too good.

Washington:
Circle H RV Park 1107 S 18th St. Yakima WA 98901  509-457-3683
Small park with mostly full time people. They say the have 60ft pull through sites but they are closer to 50ft. Full hookup sites with 30 and 50 amp and Wifi that is not all that good. No way to get Sat. Sites are small so don't try to put your awning out. Price was $35.00 for the night. There is a pool and a laundry room and not much else. Ok for an over night but may want to look elsewhere.

Wyoming:

Devils Tower: Devils Tower National Monument. Hwy 110 Bldg 170 Devils Tower WY
The camp ground is a notional park one and is only $6.00 for us old people. It is a real nice camp ground but no services. All the sites are pull through and even if they say only 35ft and smaller trust me my 40ft fit with no trouble at all. It will not be a problem as we will only be here to 3 days. Lots to see here and some real nice trails to hike. Verizon Phone is week but the data is great. Go figure.

Kaycee: Powder River Camp Ground, 100 Old Barnum Rd. Kaycee WY 82639  (307) 738-2233
This is a small Passport America park and is $15.00 a night. They do not have much but the sites are 30 & 50 Amp full hookup. They do have 6 pull through sites and Wifi. It is a great park for an over night and the manager is real nice. Only bad thing is Verizon dose not work well at all but it dose work. Do not follow your GPS as it takes you to the wrong place. Follow the direction on PA.

Rawlins: RV World Campground, 3101 Wagon Circle Rd. Rawlins Wy. 82301 307-328-1091
Smaller Park with 81 sites. Some with full hookup and some without. 30 and 50 Amp service. real friendly people run this park and I will stay there again for sure when passing through. Dont think I would stay there for longer as it is windy and hot there. They do have free wifi and Verizon worked good there.

Thermoplis, WY. Eagle RV Park, 204 US HWY 20 S. (307) 864-5262
$34.00 per night with good Sam. Nice park for a lay over. Sights are a bit tight for large rigs. Real nice owner and staff. Has 30 and 50 Amp. full hookup. Would stay again if passing through.

Yellowstone National Park, Mammoth camp ground, North entrance
Stayed under senior Pass so it was half price at $7.00 a night. Great camp host and staff. Pull through sites with lots of room. No hookups but there is water close to site. No showers but they do have bath rooms. Great view and Elk all over the place.

Wheatland: Lewis Park, 8th and Recreation, Wheatland WY 82637    (307) 322-2962
This is a small city camp ground in the park. They have 10 sites half with 30amp and half with 50amp. There is no other hookups. But there is a dump site. Sites are small and for a 40ft rig it is hard to level up. I was as far back as I could go and was right on the edge of the road. But for a free place it will due for sure. Not much in town but there is a good Mexican restaurant. And Fort Laramie is not far away.
