Well I did it.
CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES OF BOTH ERIE CANAL TRIPS
I took the Kayak out on the Erie Canal and went about 3 miles and even went through Locks 34 and 35. They drop you some 50 feet. Now that was fun. No Gloria didn't go as she cant swim so it was just me and she stayed up top to take pictures. Dirty job but someone had to do it.
Now we are back at the house and getting ready to head out tomorrow for a Park called Kenisse Lakes in Ohio. We will be there about a week and then move closer to Colo.
More stuff

Niagara Falls
CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES OF NIAGARA FALL
Yesterday we went to Niagara Falls and it was so much better than we expected. About all I can say is WOW. It is the largest waterfall in the nation and it is spectacular to say the least. You cant imagine till you stand by it and feel the power of the falls. We took the Maid of the Mist boat ride and getting right up to the falls was great and a bit wet. hahaha Also did the Cave of the Winds ( no cave any more ) But you can get right up to the Bridal Vail Falls and get as wet as you want. This is a must see if you are ever in the state. We also went out on Goat Island were you can get right up on the top of Horse Shoe Falls and see it go over. There are some nice walking trails and so much to see and do. They have a Discovery Pass that is well worth the money and the only way to see it all. We were told by several people that say to go to the Canadian side as it is better but I think they are wrong. The US side is as good in our opinion. Today it is off to see more and will tell you about it when we do it. When I post all my pictures there will be some Videos that you may want to watch.

On the Move
We pulled out of Brimfield Ma. this morning and headed to Niagara Falls. We stopped at Bridgewater NY. for the night at Lake Chalet Campground. This is a small park and not much else but it is real nice and may get better as there are new owners. There is a real nice lake that you can fish or swim in. We will leave here tomorrow morning and get to Niagara Hartland RV park for our stay. Will let you know what we are doing that.

Not much to do here but we are finding things
CLICK HERE TO SEE PICTURES OF OUT STAY IN STURBRIDGE MA
Yesterday we went to Old Sturbridge Village. It is a 1840's English Village that has people that act the part of the villagers. They tell you all about the lives of people in those times. It was a real learning experience. All the building were built in the late 1700's to early 1800's and were moved here from all over New England. We spent over 6 hours there and would love to go back and see more. It is well worth the money to go and would recommend it to all.

Most of the time we spend here in the park not doing much. I have been out on the Kayak some more and really like paddling around the lake and up the stream. Guess we are resting up for Niagara Falls trip. Will leave here on Tuesday and head for the Falls.

Made it to Sturbridge MA
We got here with no trouble at all. We are staying at Sturbridge Camping Club. It is a nice park but sites are a bit tight. They do have a lake so I took out the new Kayak today to see how it did. It did real well and I must have paddled 2 miles. Not much to see but water and some birds. Did see some of the damage done by a Twister that went through the park in 2011. Guess it was a bad one but everyone was ok. There is not too much to do around here but will try to find something. We will only be here for 5 days then on to Niagara Falls for a few days.

Time to leave
CLICK HERE TO SEE PICTURES OF OUR STAY IN MAINE
All good things have to come to an end. We will be leaving Maine today and heading south for a few days. It has been a nice two weeks here. We got to see lots of things and the weather was not too hot. We also got to meet new friends and catch up with others we have known. Bristol will not be happy as he had a good time here too. Of course I will not be happy as I am leaving my Lobsters behind. Guess it is back to Crab for me.... But we stop by a Lobster outlet and picked up 5 and shelled them and put them in bags so we I can have some later. Will update you when we get to our next stop.
