We really have not done much here this time. We did get to meet up with friends we met in Ohio Mike and Christine Shields. That is always fun and we have gone out to dinner twice with them. The weather has not been all that good with rain and wind some of the time and cool. So I have not taken on the bike at all here. We did go to Sulphur Springs TX. We went to the Southwest Dairy Museum to learn all about cows and milk also had so ice cream there. Then it was off to Grand Saline TX to see the Salt Palace. It is run by Morton Salt and is built all from salt rocks. And yes it does melt away in time and has been replaced several times. The mine is about a mile away but you can not tour it. The salt deposit is about 20,000 feet deep and can supply the country with salt for many thousands of years.
The last few day I have been down with a bad cold and have just stayed around the house. We leave here on Wed. and head south of Dallas to another member park.

WOW
Guess I am getting old or something. I forgot to say we have moved again. We left Lake Texoma on Wed. and drove 111 miles to Lake Tawakoni. It is a real nice park and we got a big site close to our friends Mike and Christine Shields. We will be here for 2 weeks. Sat. we had Thanksgiving Dinner that the park put out. It sure was good and there was about 120 people that showed.

We are here
After a 3 day trip we made it to Gordonville TX. and got all set up at Lake Texoma RV Park. We have not been here for 5 years and the park looks allot like it did back then. It is a nice place to stay and real peaceful.
There isn't must too see and do in the area so we will just enjoy our time. We did go to the Birth Place of Eisenhower yesterday. It is in Denson TX and we got to do the tour of the house he was born in. He was born in 1890 to more or less poor parents. They moved to Kansas when he we 18 months old. The things in the house and not the things that were there then but are period things.
