On Friday we started the day by trying to find the post office. It was in old town Branson and we took the main drag to get there and that was a mistake. Traffic was the worst. But we made it and then went to Dick's 5 & 10. Nice old place and fun to walk through. After that we went to Ride the Ducks. Now that was fun, you get on an rebuilt amphibious WW 2 vehicle. It takes you through some of Branson and then out onto Table Rock Lake. I even got to drive the Duck and got a license to prove it. It was lots of fun and something all should do. After that we went back to the house had dinner and then headed out to the Baldknobbers Show. It is the oldest show in Branson. It started in 1959 and is still running. It is a comedy/musical. We really enjoyed the show and had a great time as they are real good. One thing we are learning is Branson and some of the businesses love there Veterans. The show is one of them and let Vets in for free and also dose a bit in the show for veterans. That sure was along day and by the end we were real tired.
Today it started all over again. We started by doing breakfast here in the park. Then off to see the Titanic. It is a Museum on the ship and its sinking. They had lots of things from the ship and lots on the people who were on her. We could not take any picture in the museum but it was great watching the videos and looking at all the things they had gotten from the ship and the people who survived.
Then we went the Fish Hatchery and looked at all the Trout they are raising to put in the water around here. Always like to watch the thousands of fish swimming around wanting to be fed. Then we went to Charlie's Steak House for dinner and to see Gloria's friend Rebecca Dawn who is the singer there. I got to meet her and her husband Joe and we had one of the best Steaks ever. Then back home for the night. Hope tomorrow will be easer.
We knew you would have a blast!! There is no rest in Branson because there is always something else to do!! We are leaving Montana today and heading back to home! All went very well here!! Take care!
