We are going north again

We will leave here tomorrow and head to North Carolina to stay in Lenoir at a member park called Green Mountain. Should be a short trip like 160 miles. Looks like we will be hitting rain again on the run. So I will be cleaning the rig again. hehehe. We have had a good time here and got to see some new things.

We have been having some good weather here. Been in the high 70's and clear. The other day we took a drive north of here and looked at some water falls. The first one was Chau Ram Falls. It was in a County Park and was easy to get to.

The second one was Brasstown Falls and was a much better falls. There are 4 falls all in one. But the walk there was a bit hard. Lots of rock climbing and narrow trails to get to them.

It was a real nice day trip. There are lots more up in that area and we may go look at some more later.
We also took the bike for a ride yesterday around the area and got to see some nice country side.

We are in South Carolina

We made it to Fair Play SC and are set up in Carolina Landing RV Park. Got luck and got a great site. Even Bristol likes it. We will be here for two weeks so hope we can find some thing to see and do in the area.

Time to leave Florida

Well tomorrow we leave Florida. We have had a good time here and the weather has been for the most part, good. We have been down here for what seems a very long time. But it was only about 4 months. Tomorrow we will be heading for Georgia for one night then on to South Carolina to Fair Play. We will be staying there for 2 weeks we hope. Hope all are well and having as much fun as we are. 

Moveing again

Ok we have been at Peace River RV Park in Wauchula for the last week. Have not done much here as we have done most of it before. We are here mostly because we like this park and the people in it. Tomorrow we will be going to Three Flags in Wildwood for a week. May not do much there but you never know. Just killing time till our start north after Three Flags. We have been in Florida for quite a long time it seems. Looking forward to going north and seeing new things.

We have been here almost a week now and it is time to get ready to head north. We have done some running around and I have found places to go kayaking. I kayaked around this island and have done some more in two of the state parks. It has been fun but it is getting way to warm for me. Been in the high 80's with lots of humidity. People are also starting to head north from this park. Guess it is that time of year. We will be heading to Peace River in Wauchula for a week then to Three Flags in Wildwood for another week then up to South Carolina for two weeks. Will try to keep you all up to date as we move north.

Ok we are in the Keys

We left Arcadia FL on Tuesday and drove to Big Pine Key and are staying a Sunshine RV Park. It is an Encore park and we get a good discount here. Normal rate is almost $100.00 a night and we are here for $25.00. That is the only reason we come down here. hehehe The weather is nice but a bit hot for me and even Gloria said it was hot yesterday. It was 85 and it will be 89 today. We did take a bike ride to Key West yesterday and had a good time checking things out. Went to Fort Zachery Taylor State Park and toured the fort again. Also went to Key West Lighthouse but thought it was over priced for what it was. I will add more pictures when I get them all uploaded.
